Set in the Yorkshire Dales National Park at Airton near Skipton,Town End Farm is the perfect spot for an afternoon tea, freshly prepared meals, to purchase local farm produce and arts and crafts from local artists or even to enjoy a unique holiday in our charming accommodation cottages. Whatever your reason for visiting Town End Farm, it will be a pleasure.

We have transformed a modern agricultural building on our working farm into a place to taste and buy fine foods and gifts. All the produce on sale in the shop and to be enjoyed in the tea room has been specially selected to reflect the quality and freshness we wish to offer. We also support local suppliers, small farms and businesses with good buying practices.
 
The Town End Farm Shop
You can’t buy better than farm produce; fresh from the area and flavourful. In the meats chiller, you will find locally reared beef from Bolton Abbey Foods, lamb, pork, ham and poultry all with full traceability for your peace of mind. In season, our own ‘Town End Lamb’ is also available and we are happy to supply larger quantities of all meatsfor freezers when you pre-order and these can be sent by carrier if required.

Ever popular Limestone Country traditional grass fed beef is available here at the Town End Farm Shop. The Limestone Country Beef Project aims to rejuvenate and restore limestone country through better land management and conservation. To this end farmers have been encouraged to replace intensive sheep farming with the English traditional breeds, which support biodiversity. The high-quality Blue Grey Cross Galloway and hardy Welsh Black are well-suited to the environment. The result is a top-quality, healthy beef product rich in Omega 3, an essential fatty acid for avoiding heart disease and cancer.

The 10kg and 5Kg Limestone beef packs include joints for roasting, fillet, sirloin, rump and braising steak, diced and minced beef. All packs are labelled and ready for the freezer. These cattle have grazed the rich limestone pastures of Arncliffe.
We offer a diverse range of quality food and drink in our farm shop, including home-made preserves, chutneys, smoked products, cheese, bacon, sausage and venison to name but a few. Our visitors are delighted when they discover the pleasure of farm shopping and the delight in the tastes that come with it; they also talk of a nostalgia for bygone times, times when you could see where your food came from and talk to the people who understood its creation.

Fresh organic fruit and vegetables are available too, on a pre-order basis from local organic growers; do just ask any of the helpful team here and we will let you know what’s in season and place your order for you.

Frozen fruit and vegetables are also available to buy in quantities to suit your needs - perfect for a quick stir fry or fruit pudding at any time of the year. You could add some of our truly delicious ice-cream to compliment the fruit beautifully.

We have now incorporated our own off-licence selling locally sourced grape and fruit wines, micro brewery ales, such as Copper Dragon, Folly Ales and Litton Ales. Also Hampers made up or pick and mix your own selection either in a box or basket style hamper.

Upstairs you can treat yourself or choose a gift from amongst our varied range of softfurnishings, hand made cards, pottery, books and maps. Local art and crafts by talented artists are on display and available to purchase.

Of course there is more than ample parking here at Town End Farm. We are open throughout the year:
Tuesday to Saturday 9.30am – 5.00pm (winter until dusk)
Sunday & Bank Holiday Mondays 10am - 5pm (winter until dusk)
